Even once they arrived between festival appearances in Italy and Belgium to Hausen and enthusiastic fans with their strong live performance, and urban.

But the 33 in the name refers not to the perceived number of people on stage, but on the streets of Bogotá, where the musicians their rehearsal and recording studio.

Colombia is - apart from Cuba and New York as the birthplace of salsa - one of the most charismatic, strongest epicenters of the music culture.

The Roots are in LA 33 loud and clear, but the claim of the band heard it with all due respect to the traditional salsa also adventurous and open-minded to other styles and moods to experiment and based on the amount of time to present.

Our opening night will be on Sunday 12th July.

It is a joint venture being brought to you by DJ Gillian (Salsa Fix) and DJ Mike Parr (The Latin Experience) and promises to be a quality Salsa/Mambo night for both On1 and On2 dancers.

Both Mike and Gillian will be playing the best in authentic salsa, from old school gems to contemporary tracks, from mambo to salsa dura and even a touch of romantica. The music will be varied in style and tempo to suit all levels but will be predominantly salsa music geared towards On1 and On2 crossbody dancers, with a little cha cha cha thrown in too.
